"Been 3 times, once on work vacation and then came back twice for "ordinary" vacation. Ordinary it certainly was not, it was great!!! Super sweet horses én people. Everything was top, from the outdoor horseback rides to the canoe trip to the campfire. Definitely worth going sometime."

"A beautiful location with delicious food. Barbecue meals are served every Friday in the summer months. The souvenir shop is very nice and offers a wide selection of fine items. If you love horses and want to experience the cowboy era, this is the place for you!"

"Super cozy ranch with camping, and a nice store. Very friendly and helpful (NL) staff. We rode horses through the woods, the horses are well cared for and sweet, as are the two lovely dogs. We were actually here out of season but were still very hospitable. Definitely recommended!!!"

"Through the internet we searched for a nice restaurant nearby. Since we were in the neighborhood anyway that afternoon we stopped by to ask if they were open in the evening. That was fortunately so 😊 Immediately upon entering very friendly welcome and had a nice chat. After a nice snack (kladdkaka & panini) we knew for sure we would come back that evening. The food was really delicious! Delicious hamburger and elk steak. Along with it delicious fries and salad. When we are in the area again we will definitely come back! Thank you for your tremendous hospitality!"

Lovely place if you like nature and horses! Small ranch with a few camping spots and a few log cabins. There is a saloon where you can eat or drink something, as well as a cooking cabin to cook your own meals in. Little pool, trampoline, campfire areas, hammocks, ... (sauna temporarily out of use) and a lot of activities (horseback riding with or without experience, moose safari, shooting, quat riding, canoe rental, ...). Very friendly Dutch-speaking people. We only stayed there for 2 nights and that was too short!"

"What a special place! We came there ‘by accident’because we were looking for a riding school. It was for 2 nights camping,and we stayed 6! So many fun activities, beautiful restaurant and wonderful atmosphere! What an eye opener too. Great how they treat the horses!"

"In a beautiful location the Sundance Ranch is located between the river and the mountains with pine trees. Anita and team are super helpful and motivated. Horses are sweet and live in a herd. We slept in the cowboystuga which was practical and nicely furnished everything is clean and well maintained."

"Sun Dance Ranch is a wonderful place to stay. You are surrounded by water and forests. I stayed in the cozy campground and could hear the horses breeze in the pasture next door at night. With a few steps I was at the river. Toilets and showers are well taken care of and kept clean."

"For families with children looking for adventure, this is a wonderful ranch with camping, cabins, horses, a playground and several fire pits.

There are plenty of activities for children. It is a peaceful place with incredibly friendly staff. It feels like you are in an American western setting.

It was absolutely fantastic here."

"We camped one night at the ranch and were warmly welcomed by everyone. We were allowed to use the restaurant, which was still closed, as a common area, including a pool table, and the ranch store was also open to us.

It was a wonderful evening!

"A fantastic place, perfect for nature-loving families! There is a swimming pool, the possibility to ride and groom horses, a small playground and plenty of space on large meadows to play. There is a swimming area at the nearby river! Fires are also available. Guests can enjoy meals and evening drinks at the cozy bar (saloon) is also available.

The team is extremely friendly, patient and helpful. We had a few wonderful, relaxing days. Thank you for the wonderful time.

"Enchanting ranch in a beautiful location right on the river. Great campground and RV site with electricity and a cozy saloon serving great food. Our kids loved the many wonderful horses and cats. There is a trampoline, swings and a swimming pool. We would love to come back :)"

"We had a fantastic day at Sundance Ranch today. On the Mountain Trail we booked, we explored the natural beauty around Ekshärad on horseback. The horses were well trained and handled the challenging terrain remarkably well. Our guide gave us a gentle introduction to the horses and led us safely along the trail. The ride was conducted mostly in English, but the guide also spoke German and Dutch. This will definitely not be our last visit to this wonderful and lovingly run ranch! Thank you for the wonderful day!"

"Two nights with an RV. Mother and her 13-year-old daughter did the Sunset Tour - absolutely fantastic and exciting! A tough tour, but the horses did great, nice guides, very affordable. The 9-year-old opted for "fun with horses" and had a great time, including an obstacle course. The whole family went to the air rifle range in the woods and swam in the river. A picturesque, personal setting with a saloon, views of horse pastures and the Klarälven. See you there!"

Extremely nice girls who took us on horseback rides and led us around the woods, a day of horseback riding is highly recommended!!! We will definitely come back here again, such sweet horses and people with passion for their profession! Also the nature is fantastic with the river and forest, so even if you don't ride horses, you can appreciate the place."
