Canoes and SUPs

From a canoe or SUP (stand-up paddleboard), you can enjoy Sweden’s beautiful nature in a very relaxing way. As you drift quietly or paddle along the water, you’ll have a great chance to spot wildlife along the shore—or maybe even see a beaver swimming right next to your canoe. Bring a ​​delicious picnic basket, and you’re guaranteed to have a wonderful and fantastic day!

At the ranch, we have 5 Canadian canoes for 2 to 3 people and 5 SUPs (for 1 person) available for rent. A combination of the two is, of course, also possible. Naturally, we also have paddles and life jackets for adults and children, as well as waterproof bags.

You can rent a canoe or SUP and head out onto the Klarälven River from the ranch. Paddle upstream, and when you’re (almost) tired, paddle back downstream to the ranch.

Or you can book a transfer with drop-off points at various locations, ranging from 1 to 5 hours downstream from the ranch. From the Klarälven River, you’ll paddle downstream to the ranch. It’s a peaceful and active way to enjoy the water and the beautiful Swedish landscape. Drift peacefully or paddle on the Klarälven River.

We offer various transfer/drop-off options:

Byn: 1/2–1 hour of paddling

Hornäs: 2 ½–3 hours of paddling

Stöllet, Alevi: 3–4 hours of paddling

Of course, you’ll receive: a paddle, a life jacket, and a waterproof bag per canoe/SUP.

Along the way, you can take a break on the shore or sandbars, or go swimming or fishing.
