Have fun with horses - children's riding lessons

The riding lessons "Have fun with horses" are designed for children from 3 to 16 years old who like to be around horses and learn from horses.

The lesson covers everything related to horses: respect for the horses, brushing and grooming them and much more.

The focus of these classes is on the children having fun with the horses, without pressure or too much technical training.

This class requires that a father or mother walk along to hold the horse as their child rides.

The lesson takes place on the pasture of the Extreme Trailpark, so the horses like to eat grass and the children may need some help from mom or dad even though they may already be able to ride. Of course, it is also a different riding style than traditional "English style" riding.

For all horse activities:

• You will go into the pasture with the guide to pick up your own horse, brush it and help saddle it. This allows you to connect and get used to your horse beforehand. It is more relaxing for both rider and horse if you do this yourself.
• After the saddling, everyone gets an explanation of western riding, so you can master the basics before you really start riding. You learn to steer with your legs and weight and learn neck reining. All ranch horses are ridden without an iron bit, on a so-called side-pull!
• Maximum 75 kg
• Be sure to wear long pants and good shoes for all riding activities!
