Booking overnight stay

At Sun Dance Ranch you can stay overnight in different ways and experience the real ranch feeling. Choose to stay in one of our cozy Stugas (cabins) or camp on our campsite. Whether you like comfort or nature and freedom, with us you will find a place to relax, have the horses close by and enjoy the peace and quiet by the river Klarälven. You can also combine your stay well with the many activities we offer or a dinner or drink in our saloon/restaurant.

The campground

The campground is located right on the scenic Klarälven River, which makes for great views and a relaxing atmosphere. There is room for 15-20 large sites. You can pick your own spot according to your wishes. Our campground is intentionally kept small and cozy. Here it is all about the real outdoor and ranch feeling: sleep in your own camper, caravan or tent in the middle of nature with the horses just in your ‘backyard’.

New in 2026: It is now possible to empty your chemical toilet and gray water tank at the campsite.

The Stugas

In front of the Saloon, there are three cottages. Each cottage has its own theme with different furnishing: "Indian", "Cowboy" and "Wild Life".

You enter in the hall. Straight ahead is the bathroom with shower and toilet. On the left is a room overlooking the meadows and the river. On the right is a double bedroom with view on the ranch, horse paddocks and river.

The Indian Stuga has a bedroom with a bunk bed, where the bottom bed is 120 cm wide, so there is room for 3 people/kids in one room. Therefore, it is possible for five people to stay in the Indian Stuga. The room on the right is a 2 persons' room.

The Cowboy stuga has in each room 2 single beds that can be put together as a double bed - for a total of 4 persons.

The cottage on the left is the Wild Life Stuga and is a complete tiny house. The left room is a kitchen/living room and the right room is the bedroom. This cottage is suitable for 2 people.

The Cowboy Stuga and the Indian Stuga are NOT fully equipped cabins with a kitchen and living room and it is not possible to prepare your own meals in the stuga.

This is what we have the cooking cottage for. All of our guests may use the Kitchen Stuga with a fully equipped kitchen and seating area.

We also have a cottage called Camping Stuga. This is also a wooden cottage, but this one has no shower and no toilet. There are ​​two single beds (to be joined into a double bed) and a closet in this cottage.

Please note: Own food and drinks are not allowed in the Saloon or on the porch/terrace. Please use the nice picnic facilities at the campsite or at the Kitchen Stuga for this purpose.
